For the fourth consecutive year, Anna High School proudly served as the host venue for the 5A Region 3 Wrestling Championships, marking yet another milestone for both Anna Wrestling and the broader Anna Independent School District (ISD) community.

The success of the 5A Region 3 Wrestling Championships would not have been possible without the unwavering support of numerous stakeholders, including our dedicated volunteers, the accommodating facilities provided by the campus, and the steadfast backing of our local community. Their collective efforts ensured the smooth execution of this monumental event, for which we extend our sincerest appreciation.

Anna's wrestling program once again demonstrated its prowess on the regional stage, upholding the standard and expectation of State-level competition. Among the notable achievements, a total of six boys and five girls represented Anna High School at the Regional Championships. The girls' team particularly shone, with three individuals advancing to the top eight in the Region. Meanwhile, the boys' team secured an impressive position as Regional Runner-up, with standout performances from the following athletes:

Hayden Hughes: Champion
CJ Miller: Champion
Cash Williams: Runner-up
Aidan Rios: Fifth Place
John Cardinal: Sixth Place

The culmination of our athletes' dedication and hard work is evident as the top four finishers from the Regional Championships prepare to vie for glory at the State Championships in Houston this upcoming weekend. Additionally, other placers will attend the event as alternates, showcasing the depth and talent of Anna's wrestling contingent.
